Cdc & Foam Bibio #12
3.39 EUR
Threat this fly with Guideline CDC Gel and you have a Bibio fly that float for a long time. This fly is easy to see on the water and ride quite high thanks to the CDC.
This fly should complete the drift even though you miscalculated the distance to the fish your targeting. The trout really appreciate these flies and don’t hesitate to move several meters to the side to take this fly with a splashy rise. There can be days when the bibios are plentiful on the surface and you don’t see a rise. Instead of adding floatant to the fly, just spit on the fly, soak it well or just add sink gel such as Tiemco Sink Gel to make it go through the surface.
This fly resembles the Bibio Pomonae (Heather Fly) an terrestrial which normally occur during late summer and can be active well into the fall months when the weather is nice and warm, these insects just love warm and sunny weather. The fly is important to both lake- and river fishing in August and September.
