This fly is considered to be both a searching pattern and imitation of a caddis/stonefly. This original version of the fly with palmered hackle is in particular good in faster moving/broken water. When fishing on flat water we prefer the more sparse variant CDC & Elk.

In lakes you can fish it with small movements, in rivers we prefer to fish it dead drift or with some small movements just when the fly enters the fish's window, like a meter or so before..

Floatant tip:
* You can use gel floatants like Dry Magic or HND Gel that both works perfect.
* Or just dip the fly in HND LIquid floatant, our best tip!
* When you caught a fish, clean it in water, use a drier like a amadou and add floatant again.

Since 1993, knowledge and passion have been reflected in each of our products. We are dedicated to meet the high expectations of the modern fly angler with lesser impact on nature, while giving rise to everlasting moments by the water.

Because, at the end of the day, It’s all about the experience.
