A floating nymph or emerger can be very effective when the weather conditions are right. On calm days the surface film is strong and harder to penetrate for the hatching insect. On rainy days they mayflies tends to get stuck on the water for a long time too. This pattern has a wingcase of foam that makes the fly float perfect in the surface and its easy to see for the fisherman too. The fly imitates all Ephemera species found in Europe. The fly is 2cm long and is tied on Daiichi 1260 size 8.
