This leader has a unique taper that tapers up towards the front and then down again towards the tippet. This gives more mass in the front section and a more powerful turnover when you cast heavier nymphs and rigs of dry and dropper. The leader is ready to use as it is with a tippet length of 100 cm (3,5 ft) , when fishing in smaller rivers and creeks this is sufficient tippet length and longer can be a hassle to control due to lack of space and the short drifts/presentations needed.
The 9 ft Standard leader is arguably one of the most versatile and user-friendly leaders available. It performs excellently straight out of the package, providing positive turnover and easy casting for anglers of all skill levels.
The 12 ft Standard leader features a well-proven taper that delivers smooth, effortless presentations, making it an excellent all-round choice for trout fishing. Compared to the 9 ft Standard leader, the added length offers an advantage when dealing with selective trout and situations that demand more delicate presentations.
The perfect leader for fly anglers who want to customize their setup by adding tippet according to the situation. This leader handles long tippet lengths—up to 2 meters (7 ft)—with excellent turnover and a gentle presentation. The Light Trout version is ideal for lighter line weights up to #4.
Like the Light Trout version, this leader is designed for anglers who want to fish long leaders and customize them by adding tippet. Compared to the Light Trout version, it has a more powerful butt section that provides a more pronounced turnover and is better suited for line weights from #4 and up.
This leader is built for demanding conditions, delivering exceptional performance during long drifts and when targeting wary fish. Designed for customization, it allows you to add your preferred tippet section to match specific fishing scenarios. It generates natural slack, helping achieve longer, drag-free drifts.
