Guideline LPX Nymph is packed with high-end features and components that will satisfy the most demanding euro-nymphing anglers. Thanks to our C.A.P M4.0 advanced blank construction technology, these rods are incredibly light for their length (78g for a 10'8 #3) and have an action that takes nymph rods to the next level.

The feeling is superbly sensitive, making it possible to detect even the most subtle of takes. The tip is very sensitive with gradually more power down the blank. The different parts of the rod engage very smoothly as you put more power into them. This makes fighting bigger fish more effective yet maintaining protection of the finest tippets. The recovery is at top level, fast and rigid with no vibrations and great stability in all directions. This ensures unparalleled precision when casting your nymph rig and creates that good feeling of beeing connected with the whole rod. The light in hand feeling, fantastic balance and low swing weight will give you great times on the river for long hours of static, fishing holding that tip high.
Highlights
  • C.A.P M4.0 advanced blank construction Technology.

  • PVD coated guides with gun smoke, semi-matte toxic-free finish.
  • Snake guide next to the tip guide reduces tangles and line wrapping around guides and blanks.

  • Super Grade Cork grips with premium wood inserts on the reel seat. Small rubber cork butt.
  • Matte coated blanks for stealthy fishing without throwing reflexes from the sun.
  • Natural grey blank with a tint of green. Dark green wrappings with light golden metallic trims.
  • Down-locking reel seat for optimized balance and swing weight.

Model info
10’8” #2: This is a truly exceptional rod, ideal for modern nymph fishing. It enables you to cast both small, light nymphs and heavier patterns, while also accommodating very fine tippets down to 8X. The versatility of this rod extends to fishing a dry & dropper setup if desired. It allows you to target modest fish but retains a robust reserve of power for larger fish.

10’2” #3: Primarily designed for small to medium-sized rivers, this rod is exceptionally light and sensitive, making it the most versatile of the three models. It excels in all-round nymphing and is highly capable of casting regular fly lines with ease.

10’8” #3: Tailored as a dedicated euro nymphing rod, this model effortlessly handles various fly types. The extended length provides excellent control over drifts in rivers of any size.

10’2” #4: Specifically crafted for targeting larger fish and meeting the demands for increased power in such scenarios. Despite its strength, it maintains good protection for fine tippets and offers outstanding sensitivity.
Technology
C.A.P M4.0™ gives spectacular performance with flawless recovery and unique precision. C.A.P Technology features a Complex Axial Pattern (CAP) paired with unidirectional carbon fiber layups. In CAP, layers of carbon fibers are placed in varying angles to each other to maximize strength and stability in all directions. In a unidirectional non-woven carbon pattern, all fibres run in a single, parallel direction ensuring maximum strength lengthwise. M4.0 ™ is the resin we use in this type of blank construction. The properties of this resin fill the gaps in the carbon cloth more effective than normal resins and has greater strength. It also decreases the overall need for resin in blank construction. Resulting in lighter rods than ever before.

Guideline LPX Nymph is loaded with high-end features and components that will satisfy even the most demanding euro-nymphing anglers. The feeling is superbly sensitive, allowing you to detect even the most subtle takes. The tip is highly sensitive, transitioning to gradually more power down the blank. The recovery is top-notch—fast and rigid with no vibrations—providing great stability in all directions. The light-in-hand feeling, fantastic balance, and low swing weight will give you great times on the river for long hours of static fishing, holding that tip high.

State-of-the-Art blank construction technology

Thanks to our C.A.P M4.0™ advanced blank construction technology, these rods are incredibly light for their length, taking nymph rods to the next level. The advanced carbon layup in these rods, Complex Axial Pattern, paired with a unidirectional carbon fiber structure, ensures maximum strength and stability in all directions, as well as low weight. The non-ground blanks provide a structured surface, adding extra strength and preventing a thin nymph line from sticking to the blank.

Eco-Friendly features & reduced use of dangerous chemicals

The LPX Nymph fly rod series is the result of years of research and sourcing to achieve a greener fly rod, from components to production. We have significantly reduced the use of dangerous chemicals. The rods are made using our GL ECO-Tech™ production technique, where we avoid grinding the blanks, which typically produces harmful dust in the production facility. The stripping guides are made of titanium, and for the single-leg guides, we use a gun smoke powder coat finish on a stainless frame instead of chrome plating to eliminate lead.

Since 1993, knowledge and passion have been reflected in each of our products. We are dedicated to meet the high expectations of the modern fly angler with lesser impact on nature, while giving rise to everlasting moments by the water.

Because, at the end of the day, It’s all about the experience.
