The TMC 112TR is a superb hook for all types of flies with an extended body. The shorter shank in combination with a large hook gap makes the hook suitable for various imitations with bodies that have a large volume, for example beetles. We also like to use this hook for midges and smaller mayflies flies when we want a shorter body and top hooking properties.
