The Silver Sheep sheep is a variation of the Black Sheep with silver body. This fly has proven itself to fish very well in all kinds of waters. Surprisingly effective in clear and green colored rivers as well.
Originally tied by Haraldur Stefansson first as HS special and named Black Sheep because it stood out as such when placed in the fly box amongst the old British salmon flies in the box. In a bigger size the originator claim it imitates eel larvae that the salmon feed on regularly in the ocean.
