The Scandi Intergrated stretches from #6/7 and 27 gram all the way to the big #10/11 and 45 grams. Easy to lift and to cast, and can easily manage wind with both larger flies and poly leaders if needed. Wether you are fishing smaller rivers or swinging through big waters with long rods, the Scandi Intergrated line got you covered! With the Scandi Intergrated we are combining the shooting ability with the presentation and simplicity of a WF line. Intergrated means that the running line and head are combined. In between you have the unique back taper and handling line that gives you a lot of benefits! Even if the line primarily is designed as a full floating line, you can without any issues put on a heavier poly leader if you would like to get the fly down to a certain depth.
The front taper of the line has power enough to cope with that and heavier flies, without being “sluggish”. The Scandi Intergrated will still present your fly very smoothly and neat. The head color is Mint Blue green that is both visible for the angler, but also quite stealthy towards the fishing. The running line is of a bright yellow color to make it very easy to see and collect when setting up for the next cast, and the distinctive color change makes it easy to see where the head and back taper ends. The total length stretches from 30 to 36 meters to suit the different scenarios where the lines will be mainly used. The line is pre-looped like all of our other WF lines which makes it easy to connect to backing or leader, with ID marking on front loop.
TAPER DESIGN
Looking at situations where we often need to retrieve and work the fly more, not having any “loop to loop” connection to take into consideration is very comfortable. With the special back taper, you also have the benefit of being able to lift and shoot the line from different lengths, where a shooting head needs to be rather spot on with overhang. The Scandi Intergrated performs well even if the full back taper is still inside the rod tip, and being able to adjust length of the line, will make you very flexible in different casting and fishing scenarios.
