This fly is THE fly nr. 1 for many seatrout and sea bass fishermen! This fly also works very well on predatory fish in fresh water for species like Perch, Pike and Zander. Our deceivers are tied on high quality stainless hooks from Japanese Gamakatsu, with original materials and instructions after the originator Runar Kabbe. The term deceiver came up in the 1950-ties when Lefty Kreh tied his famous fly for fishing after Striped Bass. The fly Type was extremely successful and soon spread to saltwater- and freshwater fishermen around the world.
Runar's Deceiver is very different than Lefty's and are tied exclusively with synthetic materials (Lite Brite) which gives a more durable fly and a more realistic shape of a baitfish.
The colours black and blue are typical for herring chasing fish, the two olives are perfect when sprat's are on the menu. Pink is a colour that fish very well during the cold months and are to be considered an attractor.
