Indi Caddis is short for Indicator caddis, and the purpose of this fly is to be used as indicator with a nymph hanging under it during the drift. However, this fly has proven itself to be a great pattern to fish alone too.
The wing is made poly and the solid parachute hackle adds further floatation to this well floating pattern. The yellow post makes the fly visible far away. The tippet ring is secured to the hook with a braided line that can take the tippet size you add to it. The fly is tied on a barbless hook from Fasna model F100 that has a great relationship between strength and weight.
