Green Highlander originated by Mr. Grant of Wester, Elchies. One of very few classics that is green. Originally the name was just Highlander, Green Highlander came later. This fly is used by many as a typical fly for nice and sunny weather, but it can be a very good fly in foul weather too before the river rise too much and get coloured.
