This variant of the Palomino Midge uses CDC feathers as floatation- and sighter, we believe this solution is better than the original that uses synthetic yarn. Use this fly when the fishing is rising with subtle rises close to the surface. We recommend you to add floatant to all of the fly as the abdomen also soak this well up and make the fly float nice and flat in the surface like the originals. Fish it drag free in both lakes and rivers.
