This is a real good fly that is also an excellent attractor for fish that do not easily rise to a completely dry spring fly. The rear body has a Thin Skin shield that provides a compact hard body that easily penetrates the surface. The fly can also be fished descending with a slight lift to imitate a rising spring fly pupa. Try it on fish that refuse to take the fish floating with free drift!
Tips for impregnation:
- The wing can be impregnated with TMC Dry Magic or our Cdc Oil. Small amounts!
- After a fish, rinse the fly in water, dry with amodou and use TMC Dry Shake to revitalize the fly
