Dry & Stealth leaders come in a 2-pack. The bag is UV-proof and has a zip so you can store the leaders safely in your vest. Leaders come pre-looped for convenience and have a nice and discrete brown color. The design is a result of years of experience on the water. When fishing in both rivers and lakes, long leaders have the advantage of spooking fewer fish and better control of the drift.
These leaders are made to be lengthened; the tip is only 50 cm (1.5 ft) long. We recommend that you add your desired length of tippet to the tip, and you can use the same dimension or go one size down. Dry & Stealth leaders have no problems turning over tippets up to 2 meters (7 ft) in length. A nice and flexible way to use these leaders is to add our 2 mm tippet ring, then add the tip. We recommend 150 cm for the tippet. You can even lengthen the leader in several sections if you like that, see the example below

Taper Profile – Flexibility & Performance
The taper is divided by Butt – 44% (165 cm / 5.4 ft), Taper – 42% (150 cm / 4.9 ft), Tip – 14% (50 cm / 1.6 ft). The butt sections on these leaders are 0.57 mm (0.022 in), which gives a more distinct turnover than the Light Trout version. This thicker butt excels in situations with wind or when you must easily present the leader dead straight on the water. Typical fishing scenarios are with tackle from #4 and up, and you fish nymphs and dries on lakes. It’s also suitable for river fishing with bigger dries and weighted nymphs. If you liked our previous 12 ft Power Strike Trout, this leader is almost identical with only an adjustment of the tapered section, and it performs even better than its predecessor.Example of customizing with 3X/4X Leader
If you want a leader of 18–20+ feet, you can do the following—this is a favorite among the trout bums on the Guideline team! Add 50 cm of 4X and a tippet of 5X (100–200 cm). If you prefer a 6X tippet, add 50 cm of 4X + 50 cm of 5X, followed by a 6X tippet (100–200 cm). The tippet length can be adjusted depending on the conditions. A good standard length is around 150 cm. If the fish are holding in calmer water on the far side of the main current, you can extend to 200 cm to create more slack in the front and reduce drag.Top Quality Materials & Advanced Technology
