Brown nymphs are found everywhere and lots of nymphs if their mayflies or stoneflies have this darker color. The name gummy is from the abdomen that is made of a strong and flexible material with a really nice, segmented look. We have found that having legs on the nymph is an advantage when you fish areas where the fish have a little more time to study the fly.
