The F-Hare is a variant of the famous f-fly from Marjan Fratnik of Slovenina. This fly is one of the simplest flies around and typically fits the term less is more. On calm waters sparse dressed flies are often the key to success, and this fly is a great example of such. This fly can imitate a midge, gnat or even a small stonefly. Small black flies are always a great choice in both rivers and lakes and are eaten by the fish all season. We have added a thorax of well floating hare dubbing to this pattern that also adds life to the fly and dual color effect to the body.
