This fly is not only to be used when midges are around. The fly is very versatile and can resemble a lot of different black flies and gnats. It has also proven to be effective when trout feeds on clusters of midges. The cdc makes this fly float lightly on the surface film, this alone has been a trigger to catch fish on many occasions. This is an important fly for both rivers and lakes and produce well the whole season.

Flies are tied on Fasna F-100 barbless dry fly hook, a hook with great relations between strength and weight.
