The ultimate 3-in-1 boot for hiking, fishing & camp use! With a clever 3-in-1 design, the ULBC boot is the perfect tool for demanding back-country fly fishing trips, where low pack volume is crucial. It combines a comfortable, tough and high-ankled trekking boot, a top modern and technical wading boot and a waterproof & breathable camp boot in such a clever way you don´t need to bring any other footwear. Never mind the challenging hike into the mountains, the slippery and rocky bottom of the river or staying comfortable around the camp. This boot does it all and this is how it works:

ON THE HIKE

Use the tough main shell boot together with the waterproof, lightweight and stretchy inner boot for your approach trek to your destination. Since the inner boots are waterproof, it does not matter if you walk in wet surroundings. They also feature a breathable membrane that keeps your feet dry and comfortable. 

WHEN YOU FISH

When it´s time to use your waders, you simply take out the inner boot and use the main boots as a pair of wading boots.  They are a pair of real heavy duty wading boots based upon our new top-of-the-line 2023 Alta NGX boot, with superior stability and support. They are equipped with a Vibram® Idrogrip sole for optimal grip on wet surfaces. 

CHILLIN’  IN CAMP

The separate inner boot has a supportive outsole and is fully waterproof with an ankle high shaft. It will become the perfect boot to slip in and out of your tent, walk through wet grass when nature calls and to relax around the camp-fire at night.

TECHNICAL INFO

The rigid main shell boot is built to stand up against tough terrain and load from a multiday backpack trip thanks to great torsional stability. To manage the slippery and rocky river or lake bottoms, we use a Vibram® Idrogrip sole that gives you the best grip and traction on any surface. The last is wide and comfortable, inspired by modern trekking boots. The durable recycled nylon is laminated to a closed-cell foam which keeps the boot light, and it will not absorb any water. The gusseted and ergonomically designed tongue relieves pressure on your foot.
