The SALAR Series of tube flies is increasing
in popularity year by year and now covers most imaginable river types and fishing.

NEW PATTERNS
Mikael Frödin has further developed and completed his SALAR Tube fly series with another 11 patterns. They make a great addition to the already so popular existing range of flies.

New ideas and new materials lead to new patterns. Most of these don’t make it through to mass production. But finally, a few have earned the place in the fly box and may eventually even threaten the popularity of some old favourites.

SALAR TUBES
Most SALAR tubes come in three different sizes, some in as many as four. They are made in 4-6-8 and sometimes 12 cm (5”) wing lengths. All tubes come without hooks.

15 - GREY & GREEN
Nice colors for daytime fishing in both clear and colored water. Tube hook: Silver or Black. Wing length 4-6-8 cm.

16 - SILLEN
The tremendous fly invented by famous Swedish Guide and Ghillie Roland Holmberg. Tube hook: Silver. Wing length: 4-6-8 cm.

17 - YELLOW WHITE WING
Nice weather or slightly colored rivers. A good back-up to “the Flom Fly”. Tube hook: Gold or Silver. Wing length: 4-6-8 cm.

18 - SILVER & SILVER
A good-weather-fly for really clear rivers. Tube hook: Silver. Wing length: 6-8-12 cm.

19 - BLACK GREEN HELMET
Allround fly that works very well in clear or greenish colored rivers. Tube hook: Black or Silver. Wing length: 4-6-8 cm.

20 - PHATAGORVA
Allround fly for both days and evenings. Outstanding in slightly brownish colored rivers. Tube hook: Gold or Black. Wing length 6-8-12 cm.

21 - BLACK & SILVER
The standard fly for clear waters. Good contrast and never out of place. Tube hook: Silver or Black. Wing length 4-6-8 cm.

22 - MIKKELI BLUE
Night and evening fly for all kinds of rivers. Tube fly: Silver or Black. Wing length: 4-6-8-12 cm.

23 - SIERRA GORVA
A fly with roots in the famous Alta river. Great in tea colored or dirty water. Tube hook: Gold or Black. Wing length: 4-6-8 cm.

24 - NIGHT DIVER
A great fly for dusk and night fishing, as well as lightly colored water. Tube hook: Black or Silver. Wing length 4-6-8-12 cm.

25 - GARY GLITTER
A hotter version of the classic cold water, colored water fly. Tube hook: Gold or Silver. Wing length: 4-6-8 cm.

26 - FLOMFLUGAN
Great in heavy colored water or late in the season. Tube hook: Gold. Wing length: 6-8-12 cm.

27 - WILLY GUN
Allround fly that works best in tea- or lightly colored water. Tube hook: Black or Gold. Wing length: 4-6-8 cm.

28 - GREENLANDER
Outstanding fly for bright days. This fly has taken over from Green Highlander and Silver Grey in many fly boxes. Tube hook: Silver or Gold. Wing length: 4-6-8 cm

29 - NANOOK
A standard fly for fishing during daytime. A good choice in bright, sunny weather, in clear and green water. Wing length: 4-6-8-12 cm and as Micro Tube.

30 - RAINBOW
A good pattern in colored rivers. Rainbow has produced lots of big fish. Wing length: 6-8-12 cm.

31 - VAEHAENIVA
A great fly for fishing in the evening and at night. Very good in clear, greenish water. Wing length: 6-8-12 cm.

32 - SILVER WILKINSON
A classic pattern in a new style. Brilliant fly in good, bright weather. Wing length: 4-6-8 cm.

33 - AABLÅ
Brightens up even the dullest of days. Very good in clear water on overcast days. Wing length: 4-6-8 cm and as Micro Tube.

34 - SCOTT GUL
Excellent allround fly that works in both sunny and cloudy conditions. Wing length: 4-6-8 cm and as Micro Tube.
